  • Playschool Visits Bakehouse with Kindness Cards.

Today the Children visited the Bakehouse to deliver Kindness cards. This idea came from a workshop attended by some of the staff in connection with the Sustainable Development Goals – 17 Goals to Transform our World – never heard of them (I hadn’t either)! google it you will be sursprised! At playschool we are working on all 17 goals in a small way. Today was part of goal 11 Sustainable cities and communities, helping our children feel part of their community and interacting with other members of their community.

I would like to say a big thank you to Emma and Caroline at the Bakehouse for inviting us and helping make it happen, as well as for the added extras of hot choclate and cake ! yum yum bonus! Thank you to their customers for making us feel welcome and making the children feel valued and their efforts appreciated.
