  • New Term

I hope you have all had an enjoyable half term holiday. I am writing this to confirm that Playschool re starts tomorrow Monday 2nd November. We will be open during this new lockdown as stated by the Prime Minister alongside schools.

The fact the country will be in lockdown shows us we must continue to be extra careful, following all the guidelines. If you feel your child is safer at home and you are not working due to lockdown, you will not be penalised in anyway for them not attending but please let me know.

    Stay safe and well everybody.

    Michaela

  • End of Term1

Just a quick reminder that this Friday 23rd October is the last day of term. We return to playschool on Monday 2nd November for term 2.

We have another session of Racket Tots for the children tomorrow morning.

Thank you all for working with us this term through all the changes due to the pandemic, looking forwards to the fun of next term heading towards Christmas.

  • Quick Catch Up

Thank you to you all for helping to avoid the queue by the gate.

Today the children had another session of racket tots , they are all doing really well and greatly improving their ball skills.

Just to let you know we are unable to do our woodland session tomorrow morning as we are a member of staff short.

  • Updates.

We have now been back at playschool for 3 weeks and I would like to say how well all of the children have settled back and adjusted to all the new routines. We continue to monitor the advice from the authorities to keep the children , the parents and the staff all as safe as possible during the pandemic.

John Mayne School have asked us if we can keep the gate into the school playground as clear of people as possible to allow their parents access whilst maintaining social distancing. To achieve this please could all of our parents wait on the grass area by the raised flower beds and only step forward to our gate when it is your turn to enter. To avoid a large queue forming please arrive at your allotted start time, if you are unsure what this is please ask us.

Any questions or queries or issues please share them with us and STAY SAFE!
